The "NOT RESPONDING" notice is constant

it worked in that there is a 99% reduction...it still takes a long time to update...if you happen to have bad timing and want to do something during that long update window you get the "issue" again. ( Delete or Edit)

A day later and it doesn't work again...definitely pissed that I've paid for a product that doesn't function properly. And, the worst part is that my ads aren't running. Why? 'Cause if you restart it, your ads don't seem to pop up again for 24 hours - Well, in the 10 or so days I've had the product, only 5 of my ads have shown...not exactly a stellar performance. Ryan, check the settings again. I've noticed that upon restart TG sometimes reverts to default settings. I just put them back to the previous working settings and all is well. ( Delete or Edit)

My setting were still saved, and were very conservative: FRIENDS 15 min MENTIONS 10 Min DM 10 min. Still didn't work. So, I went through and manually deleted the people I was following (approx 1400). I now have only 50 core people I'm following, and the program doesn't freeze. I was also able to drop my refresh times to 2 mins/5 mins/5 mins

But, seriously, that isn't a solution...just a workaround. I don't want to be limited to how many tweets I get because I can only follow so many people. ( Delete or Edit)

I resolved this problem and shared what worked to a person here, who had the same problem and it worked for him too. You support people should become familiar with this as it's a simple solution. I remembered setting up TweetDeck and how they said it was important to increase the number of minutes between screen refresh for "All Friends" because there are so many tweets coming in constantly. I looked at my TweetDeck settings and used them on TweetGlide... end of "Not Responding" notices! Here's the settings that worked for me and another fellow w/same problem: "All Friends" - 10 minutes "Mentions" 2 minutes and "DM's" 4 minutes (If you really need to see your mentions and DM's sooner, you can set them to 1 min. and 2 min. respectively and that works fine too). Here's another MAJOR issue that needs to be addressed immediately: I've had less than 10 (yes TEN) pro adds displayed in the past 3 weeks!! I wrote to support and after about a week I finally got a reply, that they have programmers working on it... that was at least 10 days ago. How long does it take before there's a stampede for refunds? One of my twitter followers already bailed. I'm holding in there because I know things take time, but PLEASE, if Mike Filsaime is listening, PLEASE get this fixed. I was in on a pre-launch and those three weeks have cost me untold dollars in lost revenue, since TweetGlide was to be my main advertising method (I was in on the Instant Buzz craze too late, so I jumped on board TweetGlide). My ads only showed up the first day or 2. I assumed they stopped running because TweetGlide was freezing, causing me to restart it. But, now I have it running, and my ads aren't showing up...wtf ?! ( Delete or Edit)

Ryan, I was told by an admin person in reply to my support ticket that there is a problem with the ads going out but their programmers are working on it. That reply was TWO WEEKS AGO! Maybe the programmers at TweetGlide don't have the requisite skills or maybe management doesn't really care that so many of us are having problems with TweetGlide. I recommend everyone put in a support ticket and keep putting them in, until someone gets TweetGlide FIXED!! ( Delete or Edit)

OK, I could live with finally getting an answer today on this issue of pro-ads not going out. In 3 weeks only 12 ads TOTAL have been posted for me by this automated mess called TweetGlide. I understand things take time, so I've waited.

BUT now another issue, a potential deal-breaker of an issue, reveals itself. I have been tweeting my journal faithfully since 5/5 of this year and archiving my tweets at http://3circles.org/journal so I did a search on Twitter, using TweetGlide to search for all instances of my hashtag: #3cccJournal2TwittBook (3CCC stands for 3Circles Church Communities, our ministry and the rest is self-explanatory) but what I got back was HORRIBLE... only 16% of this weeks tweets (Twitter is now only storing 7 days). I went to TweetDeck, did the same search and got 100%. Even if you have limited the search to only one day or to X number of tweets per column, the results were a mess. All "Begin" and "End" tweets were missing (I created them to help people know the number of tweets sent that day and each tweet is correspondingly numbered) and not one day's tweets were complete, some from one day, some from another... a TOTAL mess. What this means is that either your API and your programmer are creating this mess OR Twitter is purposely sabatoging TweetGlide because they see it as spam (even though it's not, since Mike thoughtfully created a special column of ads that don't go out on Twitter). Which ever the case, this renders Tweet Glide useless. I can't trust TweetGlide to do a proper search and return all instances of the keword or hashtag I'm searching for!
Maybe the issue of my ads not going out is an isolated one, which means others can keep on using your TweetGlide with success. BUT THIS ISSUE OF POOR SEARCH RESULTS MUST BE FIXED IMMEDIATELY IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE A TON OF REFUND REQUESTS! ( Delete or Edit)

Yes the ad topic...how do I get even my free ads to run...do I have to have the box checked for active? When I pile up enough credits do the free ones automatically run? How do I get my ads that were included in the price to run? And how do I track them to know if they even ran at all? Thanks. TeesAgainstTyranny.com ( Delete or Edit)

Here's my work around for the ad colors defaulting to black and white; I looked up the hexidecimal numbers for each color and then put in that number. For instance, when I saved an ad it defaulted to a gray border, even though I originally chose yellow. After it defaulted to gray I went to change the ad and in the rectangle next to color I put in: #FFFF00 and when I saved it the color yellow was chosen as the new border. ( Delete or Edit)
